I'm a world traveler and an incorrigible optimist blessed with a zest for life. One of my motivations to paint is a desire to share my experiences as well as the beauty that surrounds us, stimulates us and inspires us. My art reflects our desire to remember and enjoy these beautiful moments longer.

I like painting landscapes and places I visit on my numerous trips, Paintings that take you to places you want to be. Paintings that remind us of a slower pace of life and simple pleasures.

Born and raised in Russia, I graduated from Moscow University with a Master's Degree in Science. During a teaching career that spanned more than 20 years I drew portraits of my friends with graphite pencils and charcoal.

Currently I'm a member of a few local artists guilds and paint in watercolor and oil.
